It's really frustrating and for the price I paid, it doesn't seem like something that should be happening consistently. The fan is almost always running, and I don't do anything heavy duty. I've had this issue with my MBP since I bought it. But Google Chrome Helper is using an excessive amount of CPU - 138% right now, and my fan is going crazy. I have all my extensions disabled, and plugins don't run automatically. I use Google Chrome as my default browser - always have, because everything syncs for school and I log in on many different devices.
